On All Things Media with USC Media Scholar Henry Jenkins

My guest this week is Dr. Henry Jenkins. He is the Provost’s Professor of Communication, Journalism, Cinematic Arts, and Education at USC. He is author of many books, most recently, "Spreadable Media: Creating Value and Meaning in a Networked Culture," which maps the changes taking place in our contemporary media environment in the age of the internet, where corporations no longer tightly control media distribution and many of us are directly involved in the circulation of content.

We discuss participatory media and fan fiction, video games in education, the future of books and libraries, and how technology is shaping political movements, by any media necessary…
